Our programs are held in collaboration with the Town of Lexington at the Lexington Community Center. The Lexington Community Center is located at 39 Marrett Road, Lexington, MA. Come see all the fun we are having! Registration for Spring and Summer 2023 is now open. Please contact us at info@snaparts.org for more information.
SNAP chorus is a place where my daughter is accepted and free to be the unique person she is. Singing and socializing with friends is an added benefit. We are grateful for Special Needs Arts Programs for how it has enriched our lives.

When our art students display their work, they gain confidence as they see and hear how it is received by the wider community.

Singing with the chorus makes me feel happy inside.
SNAP Singer
It brings a smile to my face when my sister describes what she made during her art class at SNAP each week. I can hear in her voice, her pride of accomplishment. Through SNAP, one of her pieces of art has been sold and she earned money on the sale. She was so excited cashing her check. I especially love that she has made new friends and looks forward to going to SNAP each week.

SNAP concerts and art exhibits highlight the amazing gifts, talents and passions of this extraordinary group of people. It is hard to imagine life in town without SNAP.

SNAP's participants shine while singing, making art, and sharing their creativity with their families, friends, and neighbors, and what a gift it is for the rest of us to celebrate and appreciate their many talents.
Community Endowment of Lexington
Our art, craft, and ceramic teachers introduce ideas and techniques that stimulate student creativity, further enriching their lives. For many, it’s one of the happiest and most engaging hours of the week.

"My son loves the class! It gives him something fun to do on the weekends!"
Parent
The projects were diverse, therefore keeping participants looking forward to the next sessions. It was good to give participants time to do their work independently.

Singing favorite songs brings a lot of joy during such a hard time. Also, seeing familiar faces has been really positive.
SNAP Parent
Because SNAP is a private non-profit and not a government-subsidized program, our son was able to continue his friendships beyond school and into adulthood.
Rich Trakimas (Board Member)
The wonderful performance of the SNAP chorus at the recent Founders Concert reminds us that music has the power to celebrate the uniqueness of every individual, as well as inspire and unite families and the community.
Ken Neidorf (Board Member)
Our individuals like to socialize and Sing Along Chorus is a good opportunity for them to go out to the community to make new friends and also a great chance to enjoy themselves with music.
Group Home Manager
SNAP has been an important part of our son's social and artistic development. After turning 22, many of his support people and programs went away - but SNAP remained.
