SNAP provides volunteer opportunities for students, aged middle school and up, and adults. Volunteers provide support to our Music Director, Art Director and Art Instructor as well an encouragement and friendship to our singers and artists. The commitment can range from four, six, eight and sixteen week programs. SNAP Sing Along Chorus operates weekly in a fall session from September through January, on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm. SNAP Special Artists operates in an eight week fall and spring session and a four week winter and summer session on Saturdays. SNAP Crafts operates for four weeks on Tuesday evenings. SNAP Ceramics operates for six weeks on Tuesday evenings. All SNAP programs take place at the Lexington Community Center.
Volunteers are provided with detailed guidelines and a volunteer orientation is held over Zoom.
Middle School volunteers are able to participate in a peer mentor program for our children’s art classes on Saturdays at 1pm.
